If it helps any, they're not really gods, Loki and Thor. But don't go spreading it around, I think they like to maintain the image.

Kinda aliens, I guess? They were so advanced that when they showed up on Earth, the humans there called 'em gods.

(Maybe they should find a planet to go and become gods on. Wait, she's thinking of people like Taako, and Lup and Merle. Bad call, never mind.)

If you can cast unlimited spells and summon magic lightning hammers then for sure we're on the same level.

[As much as Taako has an ego, he's well aware of his own limitations.]

Same as the future shit, they get these canisters from the portal and it's kinda like experiencing it? I.. I dunno how to really explain it.

[It was a very strange time, and he's not sure how to put it into words.]

I got like twenty four hours? [There's a lot that happened, including an upsetting interaction with Lucretia, but the most important thing:] Lup's back. She's okay.

Lup's– wait, when did this happen?

(This is a lot all at once and right out of the blue, but her heart soars upon hearing that Lup is okay.)

She's alive?

[spellslots]

She's all lichy, but that's, you know, we'll figure something out. If we survive the rest of the bullshit coming our way.

[But he feels... hope, now, in a way he didn't before. Knowing that Lup is okay makes winning seem possible.]

[scholiast]

We will.

(She has the same hopeful feeling; her mouth is threatening a smile.) Thank you for telling me that, Taako.

(Of course it doesn't change what will happen between the pair of them and between her and Lup, but it's... a huge weight off her shoulders, to know that Lup will be okay.)

[It might not change it, but to Taako it makes a difference. It's easier to think about forgiving Lucretia, now that he knows he hasn't lost Lup forever.

But that's enough emotions for the day.]

Oh, and I got dumped. Now you're all caught up.

[shrug emoji]

(She gives him a half exasperated, half sympathetic look.)

Are you dumping all of this on me at once so you don't have to go into any specifics?

(Still, she leans in and gives him a little peck on the temple.) Sorry to hear it all the same.

[He leans into that little kiss, eyes closed for a second.]

(She presses her shoulder against his, gives him a little nudge.) If you want to give them. I know it's hard to believe, but I do like knowing about your life, Taako.

It's not hard to believe, bubbale. [That could, almost, be touching, except he quickly ruins it with:] We all know how you feel about that hot goss.

Turns out he started like, thinking about a future or whatever and got it into his head I was gonna abandon my sister for some dick.

[That's not...... that's not entirely what happened, he just wants to be petty. He's been pretty fucking decent about it with most people, but he knows Lucretia will always be on his side with matters like this.]

(Trying to come between Lup and Taako is like... Don't Do That 101. Lucretia doesn't mind for a second if he's being more petty than truthful either, because clearly he wants to have a bit of a rant about this.)

So how does this circle back into you being the one who got dumped?
