Taako's smile widens, looking almost like a little kid on Candlenights, except a little kid who cusses a lot and teases his friend about her sex life.]

Hey, you never know where the night might take you. [But no, he knows Lucretia.] Bill's pretty rad, we went clubbing together, she's into girls, for sure.

[Just in case that was a concern.]

Maybe. (She walks back over to him but doesn't sit because she doesn't want to crease the pants, so she just stands there and twists her hands together nervously.)

Um, yeah I know. I figured, because she explicitly stated taht only girls were allowed to... um, bid on her in the auction.

(Her voice gets kind of small near the end there, and eventually trails off.)

[There is a tiny little war that happens in Taako's head, where part of him wants to tease her about that, but another part knows that if he does, she's going to get all flustered and doubt herself and probably make the date awkward.

And as much as he'd love to torment Lux, he doesn't want to ruin her date by souring the mood.]

(She latches onto that real quick, relieved that he's refraining from teasing her.) Who was it with?

It's not like it's a thing anyway, we're just friends. It's kinda just nice having another elf to hang out with, and someone who gets like - our world. A world like ours.

I know what you mean. When I first saw him there it... reminded me of home. That's why I went to talk to him.

(She shrugs.) I'm glad you can have that, though. It's strange, seeing so many humans around.

[It's not really... directly addressing the rest of what she said, but that's just how he rolls sometimes.]

(She grins, a little nervously. Sure, if she's let him choose the outfit she may as well go the whole way.)

Sure. D'you want to do my hair, too? (its a joke she has very short hair.)

[It's a joke but it's also a Mistake, because as soon as Lucretia asks the question, Taako snaps his fingers.

And her hair is now baby blue to match her top.]

(She glances over in the mirror and blinks at her altered reflection, unsure of how she feels about this. On one hand it's very cohesive? Visually pleasing. On the other she's not showing up to a date with blue hair, so she has no qualms with wasting a third level spell slot to undo his cantrip with dispel magic.)

Anyway, I have to go soon so sooner rather than later with this make-up thing would be appreciated.

[He would've dispelled it if she'd asked nicely but this is great too.

Taako grins, trying not to laugh.]

Yes, ma'am.

[This time he actually walks to his room instead of teleporting, but it still only takes a couple of seconds before he's back with eyeliner and a nude lipstick just in case she wants some more options.]

Alright, close your eyes so I don't put one out.
