A few months ago I would've said the same and like, not to get all sappy and domestic and shit, but this is actually pretty fucking chill, having somewhere nice to live and not waiting for the world to end every year.

[He has a feeling if Rin was just after sex they'd already be there by now, so he doesn't want to give the impression that it's all he's after. Jokes are one thing, but he genuinely likes Rin and doesn't want to rush anything.]

He meant what he said, about just hanging, but that doesn't mean he can't steal a kiss or two in the process, now that he knows Rin's into it, too.]
