I fought and bled and laughed and cried with Thor for centuries. I betrayed my oath as a warrior of Odin for his sake more than once. His life was dearer to me than my own.

He cast me aside, he cast our friends aside, our entire realm. He found something that suited him better.

Loki tried to bring ruin to the home I was sworn to protect, he tried to kill me and my friends, he made me serve him under the guise of my king. He brought ruin and death upon my people and all the while thought himself to be the true victim.

Yes. I am angry.

[Well, that's a lot of things to take in; he doesn't find it too hard to believe that Loki did like... all... of that... but it surprises him to hear someone say that Thor cast them aside. It doesn't strike him as something Thor would do, but he maybe someone would say the same thing about Lucretia. If nothing else, he can give her the benefit of the doubt.]

Usually I'm not the sorta dude to advocate all that honesty bullshit, but have you talked to Thor about this?

[ Thor had his reasons for doing what he did, and even now Sif knows none of them involved conscious abandonment. That does not make her feel any less kicked to the curb.

Feelings are very rarely rational things. ]

I believe I have made it clear to him how I feel.

Thor is a hero to our people, and he is very good at being that. He saves the day, he conquers the enemy.

But he was also heir to the throne, and a time came when he was expected to be something more than that. A king must be present on all days, not just the ones in need of saving.

He chose to go to midgard instead, to his mortal lover and his new friends, so that he could stay a hero.

None of the shit back home matters. I don't mean like, it's not important to you or whatever, just that you're so far away from it that you don't have to immediately make a decision about what to do next. There's nothing you gotta hold yourself to except what you want, and sure, maybe you gotta take some time to figure that out, but that's cool too

It's okay to not know. It's okay if you don't wanna talk to Thor for a couple months and just live your own life until you've got your own shit sorted. He might be kinda sad about it, but he made his bed. You look after you

That's exactly what I mean. Thor isn't shit here, he's just some dude and there's no one here for him for rule or take care of, so you don't have to help him.
