Just because you recognise the futility of fighting a battle that you cannot win, it does not mean that it no longer matters.

There's no winning this situation, either he swallows his anger and lets it eat at him, or he starts fighting with Lucretia again and will still be miserable. Either way, he's unhappy, and he hates that she's done this to him again, that it wasn't enough to take ten years from him. Maybe it'd be different, if they were back in Fearun and he could ignore her, but while they're all stuck here it's almost impossible.]
