[If anyone knows, it's him. How many times has he ended up in her bed because someone he's cared about has gone? Now it's just her turn.]

[Trying to be a little lighthearted, though he won't be surprised if it doesn't get a laugh out of her.]

[ There's no, laugh, but a little smile from his twin as she hears him say that ].

It's been a long time since he beefed it and wasn't still around afterwards, being ghosty.

[ If he was all lichy, at least she could have talked to him. He would have still been here. She closes her eyes for a moment, but it doesn't help - the tears spill and she hates it. Crying is the worst. ]

[It's an old complaint, one without any real heat these days, considering Lup would be gone if she wasn't a lich.

[ She sobs against him almost before he finishes his sentence, and she's kind of glad she took her makeup off before bed or it would have been messy. Lup doesn't like crying, but what else was there to do when her heart felt empty?

She knows Barry had to go. She knows he is fine, she knows they won and they get a weird but doable happily ever after. It's all good.

It's not here. ]

Emotions suck. [ She says through tears. ] I'm banning feelings for like, a day.

[Taako wraps his arms around her as tight as he can without hurting her, letting her cry it out.]

You wanna get in on the potion Rin made me? It's not like - it won't fix shit, but it makes ya feel better.

[ She cries for a while, until she reaches a point where she just feels gross. Lup makes a disgusted sound and Prestidigitates her mess away, cleaning away tears and snot from them both. Wiping her eyes, she then looks at Taako. ]

What kinda potion is it?

[He wasn't even gonna complain about the mess, but this works, too.]

An elixir of peace, he made it from that diamond lily. It's legit, Rin was a good alchemist.

[ She sighs against him, but nods. ]

Alright. That sounds good.

[ Maybe a drop or two -she didn't want to put a drain on Taako's gifts, but she also didn't feel like being this upset all night. ]

It'll help ya sleep once you're ready to get there.

[It won't put them to sleep, because they're elves, but it makes it easier and he's never had a bad night's sleep after drinking it.

So with a kiss to her forehead, Taako hops off the bed and goes to get the bottle and a glass; he pours in a small sip and tops it up with water to make it easier to drink, then returns to sit cross-legged on the bed as he offers the glass to Lup.]

[ Lup watches him get off the bed to get it, and mix it up for her. It makes her chest feel tight with both sadness and relief at once - no matter how hollow her chest felt right now, her heart was right here with her.

Taking the glass from Taako, she gives him a soft smile. ]

Thanks, Koko. Do you.... am I gonna cockblock you and Skeletor if I crash here?

Skeletor's got his own room, you don't gotta worry about it.

[He doesn't really talk all that much about the situation with Kravitz, but while they're affectionate and going on the occasional date, Taako is keeping his space.]

Okay.

[ She's been a good sister and has not pried, jokes aside. ]

It's too quiet in there.

[ With that, she drinks the potion-mixed water and puts the glass down on the nightstand. ]

You can stay here as long as ya want, or we can invite Luce for a sleepover, it'll be fun.

[They can make a distraction out of it, to give Lup something else to think about.]

Thanks, Koko. I don't want you to be uncomfortable, though. I just need some time feeling whole.

[ A distraction might work, but Taako was a pretty good one by himself. ]

What's there to be uncomfortable about, it's all good.

[Either Lup in his room or Lucretia hanging around, neither are huge issues.]

[ She sighs and cuddles closer. The potion does help a lot to calm that anxious, wired feeling down and Lup relaxes a bit against her brother. ]

Don't leave this place without me.

[It's a cruel thing to ask, and Taako knows she wouldn't if she wasn't upset right now, so he just nods.]

Hey, it's me and you, I'm not going anywhere.

[ It is cruel and she knows it is. She just can't deal with it right now. She can't deal with the thought of being alone here.

She never wants to be alone again. A decade was enough. ]
