Yes, I agree. He of all people should know better, but I am not surprised that he does not.

[Taako sighs, leaning back in his seat; he didn't want to really get into this, because he cares about Loki a lot and he cares about Rin, too, but his friendship with Rin is newer, not as intense as it is with Loki.

I know I gotta talk to him about it, but I dunno, Rin said he didn't want an apology and the last thing I want is to start shit that doesn't need to be started.

[Maybe it's better left as it, awkward and uncomfortable but not actively hostile. Or maybe he's just a coward.]

You were blowing hot air, and not even at him. Besides, you are speaking to one he has tried to murder and manipulate, you are hardly at risk of tainting a previously favorable view of him here.
